Creamsicle Chiffon Pie

Hot summer days call for quick, easy and refreshing deserts. This light pie is the perfect choice. Requiring only five basic ingredients and about five minutes to prepare, it makes a delicious dish to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Water, boiling
  • 3 oz. package Orange Jello
  • 2 (6 oz.) containers Orange Yogurt
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Frozen Whipped Topping, thawed
  • 1 Cup Mandarin Oranges
  • 1 Graham Cracker Crust

Directions

  • In large bowl combine the Jello and the boiling water; Stir to dissolve.
  • Whisk in the yogurt and the whipped topping.
  • Set aside six orange segments.
  • Chop the remaining oranges into bite size pieces and fold into Jello mixture.
  • Pour into graham cracker crust and top with reserved orange slices.
  • Refrigerate until set, at least two hours.

Sugar free Jello and sugar free and/or reduced fat whipped topping, yogurt and graham cracker crusts work just fine in this recipe for a lower calorie treat. Serves six.
