The Column, No. 154:
The Death of RemArms Opinion by Randy Wakeman ![]() The judge made it clear in the post-trial opinion: sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction, and this is one of those times. If you can stand it, see Post Trial Opinion. ![]() It doesn't sound like “Roundhill Group” ever had enough money or expertise to possibly make Remington Firearms viable. Roundhill Group was, according to the court, Scott Soura. As of the courts ruling, Richmond Italia's Northern Gold owned 48.75% of Remarms, the same share owned by Scott Soura's REM OA, with 2.5% owned by Hong Kong (SIFT). The proposed sale of part of Remarms to Turkey did not happen, at least as of the date of the court's opinion. It is a sad ending. |
