Bolle Gunfire 2.0 Shooting Glasses Kit

By Randy Wakeman

One thing most folks agree on is that shooting glasses can be pricey. At the same time, most feel that their eyes are worth protecting with more than gas station type sunglasses. The Bolle “Gunfire 2.0” is a very good set of three wrap-around lenses, with two sets of temples. You get lenses in clear, smoke, and copper to handle most shooting and hunting situations.

The glasses are STANAG 4296 / MIL-PRF-32432 rated, also meeting the ANSI Z87.1-2015 specification. They also come complete with Bolle's anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings. This amounts to a set of three high quality shooting glasses, available right now for $51.80 at https://www.bolle-safety.com/us/tactical/tactical/ballistic-glasses/gunfire-2.0-GUNFIRE2.0_TACTICALBSSI.html . I've found them to be extremely lightweight and comfortable-- and they don't fog up on me. The Bolle Platinum anti-fog anti-scratch coatings are applied to both sides of the lenses.

The Gunfire 2.0 kit comes well-presented in a zippered case. For the $51.80 price in 2024, I'll call them a screaming deal, for you can outfit your entire family at a reasonable price point. Your eyes are priceless. In my case, there is always more than enough debris flying around when hunting, shooting, testing firearms, mowing the lawn, or running the snowblower to keep protective eyewear on my face.

Once in a while, a product is such a good value that all that needs to be said is, “Just buy it!” This is one of those times: congratulations to Bolle.
